WHEN TO VISIT & CLIMATE
Best months: June to September—and also October—when snow has melted, roads are open, and the weather is pleasant Winter conditions: From late October to mid‑May, heavy snow typically cuts Keylong off. Though the Atal Tunnel improves access, winter storms can still cause roadblocks. Average winter temps range from –15 °C to –5 °C as noted by visitors in January
