Nalagarh is a beautiful hill tourist destination under Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, which has historical importance along with natural beauty. Throwing light on the history, it is known that it was once a part of the Rajput kingdom here.
Situated at a distance of 300 km from Delhi and 60 km from Chandigarh, this hill station was settled by the Chandela kings in 1100 AD under the name Hindur

You can start your Nalagarh tour from the main attraction here, Nalagarh Fort. This is an ancient fort which has now been converted into a heritage hotel. This fort was built by King Vikram Chand in 1421 AD. Spread over an area of about 10 acres, this fort is built on a hill here.From here you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Shivalik ranges to your heart's content.
